Service Description
Description: This pediatric craniosacral and somatic regulation session offers gentle, trauma-informed support for a child’s nervous system using light touch and body-based awareness. The session is designed to help children feel calm, safe, and regulated while supporting their natural ability to settle, process stress, and self-regulate. Children often hold stress, emotional experiences, or overwhelm in their bodies before they have the language to express it. This work does not require talking or reliving experiences. Instead, it meets the child where they are and supports regulation in a quiet, respectful, and developmentally appropriate way. Sessions are paced to the child’s comfort level and may include gentle craniosacral techniques, calming nervous system support, and subtle somatic release as the body allows. This Session May Support Children Who Are Experiencing: Anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm Difficulty calming or settling Sleep challenges Sensory sensitivity or tension Emotional dysregulation or big feelings Stress related to life changes or transitions What Parents Can Expect: A calm, safe, child-centered environment Gentle, non-invasive touch No forced emotional processing Respect for the child’s boundaries and cues Support for regulation rather than “fixing” behavior Parents are welcome to remain present during the session if that feels supportive for the child. Cancellation Policy
Single Session Policy Pediatric craniosacral and somatic regulation sessions are gentle, trauma-informed services designed to support a child’s nervous system, emotional regulation, and overall sense of safety. By booking a session for your child, you agree to the following policies. Service Scope This service uses gentle, non-invasive touch and body-based nervous system support. Sessions are child-led and paced according to the child’s comfort and cues. No verbal processing, emotional disclosure, or reliving of experiences is required. This service is supportive in nature and not a substitute for medical, psychological, or behavioral health care. Parent / Guardian Consent A parent or legal guardian must provide consent prior to the session. Parents are responsible for disclosing relevant medical, developmental, emotional, or behavioral information before treatment. Parents may remain present during the session if that feels supportive for the child. Payment Policy Full payment is required at the time of booking. Single pediatric sessions are non-refundable once completed. Missed appointments or late cancellations are subject to the cancellation policy below. Cancellation & No-Show Policy Appointment times are reserved specifically for your child. 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a 100% charge of the session fee. No-shows will be charged the full session fee. Child Comfort & Session Expectations Sessions are adjusted as needed to support the child’s comfort and safety. Sessions may be shortened or discontinued if the child becomes distressed or dysregulated. Partial or early-ended sessions are considered complete and are not refundable. Health & Safety Please notify us prior to the session if your child is ill, has a fever, or has a contagious condition. Sessions may be rescheduled if treatment would not be appropriate due to illness or safety concerns. Professional Boundaries All services are strictly professional and therapeutic. Respectful behavior from both the child and parent is required. We reserve the right to discontinue care if boundaries are not respected.
